Now in its fourth edition RECYCLING, YARD ART ENVIRONMENTAL edited by Marisa Merlin, an artist from Padua, who mostly uses recycled materials in her work, recontextualyzing it to the point of creating new languages, writing and architecture.
Held at the former abattoir from 26th of May to 25 June was attended by a succession of artists and designers. Promoted by the "ARTERY" association, in collaboration with the Departments of Environment and Culture of the Municipality of Padua and Venice, sponsored by the University IUAV of Venice, RECYCLED ART-SITE ENVIRONMENTAL is a proven design that enhances the dialogue with the land in a sustainable environment.
Designed as an artistic and cultural container nominating Padua as a candidate for capital of contemporary art, RECYCLED became an exportable model of excellence in the dissemination of ecological environment protection issues. The review compares the different approaches and artistic languages: Reflections and investigations to focus on situations, behaviors, individual and social practices, with particular attention to the transformations of the territory and therefore the environment; hpwever also a proper analysis of the possibilities of reuse through creations designed and structured according to logic and behavioral energy in sustainable ways.
This years edition saw the collaboration of three art galleries city: who selected the winners of the contest dedicated to the event and will exhibit some works seen at this year.
