The Flex chair designed by Georgi Manassiev, fresh out of college at the Royal College of Art, was presented again at the Sofia Design Week.
This is a very singular object that presents seat and back consist of two separate pieces that allow different seating positions. Regardless of how you sit on the chair the four panel structure of support attached to a tubular flexible to absorb and follow every movement. The materials used in construction are steel tubes for the frame and plywood.
I am interested in everything that has to do with everyday life. I find the design very appealing when it comes to function and pleasure. I am fascinated by the concept of being able to make reality more pleasant, personal, special, putting in place solutions that first of all must be simple.
