In free fall towards imaginary cities, giddy, sharp.
This is the sensation lived in front of paintings, realized by the Milan artist Fabio Giampietro.
In his works the main protagonist is the architecture in the urban context, make to revive in the viewer the feeling of anxiety and loneliness that sometimes you living in large cities, where skyscrapers and large buildings invading space and emotions.
His paintings, made with only the various shades of gray-ocher, have the same color of smog, of air full of smoke and noise of the contemporary capitals, in which appear from time to time flashes of light.
The gravitational force that invades the viewer and draws to itself, has the same magnetic power of the great urban centers, with their immensity and desolation at the same time.
Dizziness, therefore, free fall, sense of emptiness and loss of balance, are the same emotions of everyday life, in which despite the continual going and coming of people, we find often us to be alone with ourselves in the face of these great architectural buildings.
